Seven Gift Ideas for Yule

If you are looking for gifts for those witchy or tarot-loving people in your life this holiday season, or you scored some money yourself and need ideas on what to get, keep reading below for seven great suggestions on what you can pick up. 


A New Tarot or Oracle Deck

Obviously, this one had to go on the list! You can check out my YouTube channel to watch flip-throughs of several different decks to help find one that would be perfect to give as a deck or keep for yourself (or both!). Monthly Subscription box


Last year, I prepaid a couple of subscription boxes for myself and they were super fun. Tamed Wild is a box that has a monthly theme with ingredients and instructions for an intention-setting ritual. The box can include items like crystals, herbs & teas, ritual tools, jewelry, and other mystical items. The other subscription box I purchased was the Awakening in a Box Crystal Pouch. This box came with five different crystals each month and really helped me to grow my crystal collection while teaching me exactly what each crystal can be used for. I have unboxed several of these subscription boxes on my YouTube channel so you can take a look at them and see if they would be something you may like.

 

Scribd Subscription

Scribd is a great option for anyone who likes reading. There is a wide variety of books (both in ebook and audiobook format) on just about every subject, including witchcraft and tarot. It's a great way to get access to tons of information right from your computer, tablet, or smartphone. Witchy or Tarot Drinkware

I love a good mug! I honestly don't know a witch who doesn't love tea or some sort of hot delicious drink. Witchy mugs are super fun and you can find some really awesome ones on Etsy. I'll link a few below.  




 






2022 Planner or Calendar 

There are a couple of really great planners that you can get to help with your intention setting, astrology, and divination, or other witchy endeavors. The one I've purchased to use for the current year is the Magic of I Planner. Please let me know in the comments below if you would like me to do a review of this planner at the end of the year (or a flip through of it now). Some other options are the Moonology Planner, the Astro Moon Diary, or Llewellyn's 2022 Witches Datebook. 


Coloring Book of Shadows by Amy Cesari and colored pencils

If the gift recipient (or you) likes to color, this is an amazing gift. I do suggest the PDF version. While I appreciate the fact that there is a pre-printed version, I like being able to re-print pages when I want to. Plus I print it double-sided on card stock so it's a bit sturdier than the pre-printed version, too. You can't give a coloring book without colored pencils though!


Tarot Reading Gift Certificate

Finally, a great way to start off the new year is with a tarot reading. You can book one for yourself or purchase a gift certificate for a friend. There are tons of great options ranging from general readings, readings about the year ahead, to specific questions for situations you are going through. If you have been thinking of learning tarot and you just aren’t sure where to start, below I will list some great suggestions of things to get you started. Tarot Deck Pricier: Modern Love Tarot   Less expensive: Light Seer’s Tarot Why? These decks are both amazing and their artwork is based on the RWS system. It’s very easy to pick up the messages of the cards on either of these decks when you are first learning because the artwork is so expressive. December 2021 Tarot Reading

Beginning this month I am going to do a monthly "collective" tarot reading here on my blog. Unlike my one-on-one readings, this won't be a predictive type of reading, but instead, it will focus on the month's overall energy and message for everyone. This will provide each of us with a chance to do some self-reflection and hopefully encourage us all to grow in positive ways.  What should we reflect on this month? Three of Candles. It is time to think about the things we truly want to manifest in our lives. The coming year is full of possibilities and we can start to build the life we want, but we cannot do it without intention backed by action.
