2022 Tarot and Witchy To-Be-Read Book List

Image
I'm going to start this post by talking about one of my favorite things on the internet: Scribd. Scribd is a subscription service, where you pay a monthly fee and get access to their entire database of ebooks, audio books, documents, magazines, and more. The reason I love Scribd more than other "unlimited" services is that they have almost every occult and tarot book I have looked for. I do think there are some improvements that could be made with the platform, but overall I LOVE it and recommend it to everyone!  If you click this link ( https://www.scribd.com/g/8m6o5n ), you will get 60 days free to try out Scribd and see if you like it! While this post is NOT sponsored, if you sign up for Scribd through my link, I will get 30 days free. All of the books on my to-read list below can be found on Scribd! This post is a little late, but the following are the 12 witchy and tarot-related books that I am planning/ have started to read in 2022. After each book I list below, I ...

Five of My Favorite Beginner Tarot Resources

If you have been thinking of learning tarot and you just aren’t sure where to start, below I will list some great suggestions of things to get you started. Tarot Deck Pricier: Modern Love Tarot   Less expensive: Light Seer’s Tarot Why? These decks are both amazing and their artwork is based on the RWS system. It’s very easy to pick up the messages of the cards on either of these decks when you are first learning because the artwork is so expressive. The Modern Love Tarot by Ethony is a bit more expensive, but it’s an indy deck and the card stock is thick and it has several amazing special touches (like gold foil on the backs and gold edging on the deck). The cards are a great size, too. The Light Seer’s tarot is a great deck, too. It is a mass market deck so the price is lower but it will still hold up to pretty rigorous use. The cons are that the card stock is thinner and the edges of the deck is plain cut, but neither of those are really deal breakers. Tarot Book: Kitchen Table T...

#10PiecesOfMySoulDecks Tag

Image
I saw this tag going around on YouTube and wanted to play. The original video tag is from the Truth in Story and you can check out that video here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=buNEsXpD6oQ&t=0s . This more updated version is from Lisa Papez and my response sort of more closely aligns with her video that you can watch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XP26UhL3Od0 . I love the idea of different decks representing different pieces of my soul. I am often drawn to different decks when I am in certain moods or just need the comfort those decks provide. I switched up some of the categories from the ones Lisa had to make them more fitting to me and what the pieces of my soul would be divided into. The Spirit piece of my soul: Modern Love Tarot by Ethony Dawn This deck is moving, relatable, diverse, and beautiful. I took it out of the box and immediately felt such a strong connection to it. I have had so many wonderful, insightful, and transforming readings with this deck. I ...

February 2022 Tarot Reading for the Collective

What should we reflect on this month? Ace of Wands: This is a good time to reflect on new ideas and things we have learned recently. It could be a change in a belief we have held for a long time or a new way to look at things. Spend time meditating on what it means and how it has changed the way we see things.   Where should we focus our intentions this month? King of Wands: This month is a good time to focus on the big picture. Really consider where you want to go and make a solid plan on how to get there. Don't be afraid to take a different approach in order to reach your goals. Think outside of the box.   What should we release this month? The Fool: This month it is time to release our intentions into the universe and trust that it will provide everything that we desire. We must remain patient and trust that everything will happen in the time it is meant to. We have to just breathe and do what we can when we can. As long as we are putting in the work to get...
