Golden Girls Tarot Spreads

 The Golden Girls are one of my all-time favorite shows. When I'm feeling a little down I put it on and seem to cheer right up. I must have seen every episode at least a hundred times. 

When I saw there was a themed deck I immediately had to purchase it. It's fabulous. There are small details in it like Stan's therapy monkey that are awesome little nuggets for fans of the show. Below are a couple of my favorite cards from the deck. See if you can spot some of the gems in them and leave them in the comments below.




I decided that I wanted to create some spreads that really embodied the girls and each of their personalities. I've included them below for you to download yourself. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Dorothy Zbornak was smart, stern, and not ashamed to be herself. Use this spread when you want to incorporate Dorothy's no-nonsense attitude into your life.



"Your heart's in the right place, but I don't know where the hell your brain is." -Sophia

Sophia was the matriarch of the Golden Girls. Her opinions, advice, and stories had an old-world flavor and she was never afraid to be blunt. Use this spread when you need to hear some straight talk about your life.

    This is amazing! The Girls have been a life line for me through many, many ( in my best Blanche voice) moments over the past 30 odd years. Both of my daughters grew up hearing the “Goldie Girls” on the tube daily and we refer to them often in conversations. They are our friends, mentors and encouragers - always. Thank you for this post and thank you for being a friend!

December 2021 Tarot Reading

Beginning this month I am going to do a monthly "collective" tarot reading here on my blog. Unlike my one-on-one readings, this won't be a predictive type of reading, but instead, it will focus on the month's overall energy and message for everyone. This will provide each of us with a chance to do some self-reflection and hopefully encourage us all to grow in positive ways.  What should we reflect on this month? Three of Candles. It is time to think about the things we truly want to manifest in our lives.
