February 2022 Tarot Reading for the Collective

  • What should we reflect on this month?
    • Ace of Wands: This is a good time to reflect on new ideas and things we have learned recently. It could be a change in a belief we have held for a long time or a new way to look at things. Spend time meditating on what it means and how it has changed the way we see things. 
  •  Where should we focus our intentions this month?
    • King of Wands: This month is a good time to focus on the big picture. Really consider where you want to go and make a solid plan on how to get there. Don't be afraid to take a different approach in order to reach your goals. Think outside of the box.  
  • What should we release this month?
    • The Fool: This month it is time to release our intentions into the universe and trust that it will provide everything that we desire. We must remain patient and trust that everything will happen in the time it is meant to. We have to just breathe and do what we can when we can. As long as we are putting in the work to get the things we want, we just have to have faith that things will work out in the best way possible.
  • What is the message of this month?
    • Vision: The message for this month is to get clarity. It is time to reflect on our goals and make sure that they are really what we want and that we are clear on how we can get there. 

    Journal Prompts

    1. What insight or revelation have you had that has changed the way you see or think about things and how can this new knowledge be used to bring you in better alignment with your higher self?
    2. Write down your big picture and long-term goals in all the major areas of your life.
    3. Journal about some of the small steps you can take now in order to get closer to reaching your big goals. Try making an action plan (I always find a mind-map helps!).

    If you have been thinking of learning tarot and you just aren’t sure where to start, below I will list some great suggestions of things to get you started. Tarot Deck Pricier: Modern Love Tarot   Less expensive: Light Seer’s Tarot Why? These decks are both amazing and their artwork is based on the RWS system. It’s very easy to pick up the messages of the cards on either of these decks when you are first learning because the artwork is so expressive. The Modern Love Tarot by Ethony is a bit more expensive, but it’s an indy deck and the card stock is thick and it has several amazing special touches (like gold foil on the backs and gold edging on the deck). The cards are a great size, too. The Light Seer’s tarot is a great deck, too. It is a mass market deck so the price is lower but it will still hold up to pretty rigorous use.     December 2021 Tarot Reading

    Beginning this month I am going to do a monthly "collective" tarot reading here on my blog. Unlike my one-on-one readings, this won't be a predictive type of reading, but instead, it will focus on the month's overall energy and message for everyone. This will provide each of us with a chance to do some self-reflection and hopefully encourage us all to grow in positive ways.  What should we reflect on this month? Three of Candles. It is time to think about the things we truly want to manifest in our lives. The coming year is full of possibilities and we can start to build the life we want, but we cannot do it without intention backed by action. Let's reflect on our ideal life and what steps we can take to bring it into being.
